Right now I am really addicted to watching live broadcasts from the catwalk shows and backstage. I am loving watching 'Nicola Formachetti' preparing for the 'Thierry Mugler' show in Paris on wednesday. If you don't know Nicola Formachetti is Lady Gagas fashion stylist/designer and Thierry Muglers new Creative Art Director. Be sure to tune in, broadcasts are usually aired via Paris time. One to watch!! Apparently I have two mutual friends with him on facebook :D

Hot News!!!

Hello all, I have been upto so much lately, where do I start?! Firstly uni- My group SHOW PROJECT went very well, we were sponsored by TOPMAN and we had to transform mens white T-shirts into a collection for a catwalk show held at university, our group chose the theme of 'PANADEMIC-POST-APOCALYPTIC.' I was on the styling team and we produced some very individual stunning pieces using TINFOIL and CARDBOARD. Secondly- I handed in my final project- FASHION AS NARRATIVE, a styling/photography collaboration where I had to produce an EDITORIAL SPREAD consisting of 8-10 different stylised outfits. My theme for this was 'MARIONETTE' a shoot based around the concept of puppets and relating to real life as HAVING NO CONTROL- WE ARE MERE PUPPETS ON STRINGS CONTROLLED BY THE GOVERNMENT. I am currently working on producing my PORTFOLIO for the end of year hand-in and a 2000 word essay... Xx
