'The arm gauntlet'

I came across how to tie this bondage style arm gauntlet on the web the other day when looking at how to tie a knot for the photo shoot I am collaborating with, so I thought id give it ago. Its really easy and quick to do. I will be wearing it in different colours, you could also use ribbon for a feminine look and thread charms on to the rope.

You will need: 5 metres of rope

1) start by folding the rope in half

2) next place your arm in the middle of the rope, so the length is equal on both sides. The hooped end is on the left and the loose ends on the right

3) pull the loose ends through the hooped end

4) bring the rope back on itself and around the arm

5) make a new loop by putting your fingers underneath (as seen)

6) pull the loose ends through the new loop you just made

7) take the rope back on itself then repeat steps 3-6 till required length

8) tie a single or double knot to keep in place.
